I’ve know Fred Borisuk for 30 years. I knew him 25 years ago when he helped make accessibility modifications to a home for his good friend who had contracted ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). Fifteen years ago when he helped construct a ramp and handrails for the aging father of a good friend. Ten years ago when he remodeled a bathroom in my house so we could more easily get our adult daughter with profound disabilities into a shower.
As President and CEO of North Coast Community Homes, a non-profit organization which has 193 homes for individuals with mental and intellectual disabilities in Northeast Ohio, we have worked with Fred on many projects to make our homes more accessible for our tenants.
When you think about contracting with Adaptive Living Partners this is the character of the owner Fred Borisuk. This is the guy I know. First and foremost he is an excellent general contractor, but more importantly he has a burning desire to do the job right. When I need help on an accessibility project he is the one I call.
